Seymour forwards No 24. An Ordinance [to] further… extend the time granted to the Harewood Colliery Company Limited by the Harewood Railway Company's Act of 1864 for making and completing a Tramway from the Company's Mines to Departure Bay, Nanaimo and the corresponding Attorney General’s report. Holland’s minute summarizes ordinance 24, describes the ordinance’s effect, and advises sanctioning the ordinance.

My Lord Duke,
I have the honor to forward an authenticated and two plain copies of an Ordinance of the local Legislature entitled; No 24. An OrdinancefurtherManuscript image further to extend the time granted to the Harewood Colliery Company Limited by "the Harewood Railway Company's Act of 1864" for making and completing a Tramway from the Company's Mines to Departure Bay, Nanaimo.
This simple measure requires no further explanation than that furnished by the Attorney General in the report I enclose.
