Seymour forwards a receipt from paying Clark and Skinner £568 and asks Buckingham to have that amount repaid to the Crown Agents on behalf of British Columbia. Elliot’s minute confirms that Cox should send a copy of Seymour’s despatch to the Treasury and request that the Treasury pay £568 to the Crown Agents for British Columbia.

With reference to Your Grace's despatch No 18 of the 6th April I have now the honor to forward a receipt from Messers Clark and SkinnerforManuscript image for the sum of £568, which amount perhaps Your Grace would be good enough to have repaid to the Crown Agents as early as possible.
