Sir,
I have laid before the Queen the Ordinances noted in the margin
which were forwarded to me in Mr. Seymour's and your despatches No. 7 of
the 2nd of February 1865 and No. 125 of the 16th of December and I am
commanded to acquaint you that Her Majesty has been pleased to confirm

seventy six pounds, eight shillings and eight pence, out of the general
revenue of the Colony of British Columbia, and its dependencies to the
