Sir,
I have the honor to transmit to you a copy of a letter from the
Board of Admiralty relative to a sum of £7.12.8 on account of provisions
supplied by Her Majesty's Gun Boat "Forward" in 1864 to the Volunteers
in British Columbia. I have to request that you will remit the amount
in question to the Crown Agents to be placed to the credit of Naval
Services.
