appointment of Mr. William George Cox to be Police Magistrate and Assistant Gold Commissioner at the Kootenay Gold Minesand of
the increase of the salaries of the Assistant Gold Commissioners.

I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 72
of the 26th of November, and to approve the appointment of Mr. William
George Cox to be Police Magistrate and Assistant Gold Commissioner at
the Kootenay Gold Mines.
