Sir,
I have the honor to express to you my very sincere thanks for the
honor you have been pleased to confer upon me, by my appointment as
Colonial Secretary at Honduras.
I have learned that no inconvenience will be sustained to the
Public Service by a delay of one month from this time, and therefore
proposeif if approved of to leave here on the 2nd of September next,
devoting the intervening period to the further restoration of my health.
I have the honour also to resign into your hands the appointment
which I at present hold namely that of Registrar of the Supreme Court
of British Columbia.
