May it please Your Grace I have the honor of addressing
Your Grace, and to say I understand Your Grace is anxious to
receive information as to the ineffective Postal Services of
British Columbia and Vancouver Island.

I beg for Your Grace's information to say, I have just
returned from these Colonies, and that I was for four months
assisting Postmaster Spalding, at New Westminster, B.C. and
that I am thoroughly acquainted with the system in all its
details.
Any information that is in my power to give Your Grace I
should only feel honored in giving, and Your Grace can commandmy
my Services at all times.
