procure£3,000 through
Bills on Her Majesty's Paymaster Generalto pay for the salary and rations of the Royal Engineers in the colony and requests that the bills be paid when presented.

Requisition having been made upon me for the sum of
Three Thousand Pounds (£3000) on Military Account to meet the
Colonial Pay and Rations of the Troops for the months of January and
February, I haveauthorized

request your Grace will be pleased to obtain the necessary
authority from the Lords Commissoners of the Treasury for
the Bills presented on this account to be paid when they become due.
