Army agents Cox & Co. forward Rogers a certificate showing that
Moody was alive on 31 December 1859 and request that his salary be
paid for the preceding quarter.
We have the honor to enclose the usual Certificate of the
existence of Colonel R.C. Moody, Royal Engineers, on 31st December
1859 and to request that the usual Warrant may issue to HM's
Paymaster General for the pay of that Officer, as Commissioner of
Works, British Columbia, for December quarter.
