Agreeably to your Grace's desire I have now the honor to inform your Grace that this Company have presented separate Petitions to Her Majesty in Council, praying to have their rights determined in regard to the disputed territory in British Columbia and in the Island of Vancouver.
It will now therefore be necessary that this Company's Solicitors should be placed in communication with the Law Advisers of the Government, in order to arrange the documentary evidence to be produced Manuscript image produced before the Judicial Committee.

I apprehend that we have now to Apprize the Treasury of the proposed suit before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, request that their Solicitor may be instructed to get up the case (for which this Office will have to furnish the requisite Papers) and Manuscript image take such other steps as are proper on the occasion.
