I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of Your Grace's
Despatch No 22, of the 5th May last, upon the subject of
the
Advances
Advances made from the Imperial Treasury in aid of the
Colony of British Columbia, and pointing out to me the Accounts
that will be required from the Colony, both to discharge those
Advances, and to account for the receipt and expenditure of the
Revenue raised in the Colony; and I beg to assure Your Grace
that the various points touched upon in Your Grace's Despatch
shall meet with
my
my most careful attention.
