Lytton informs Douglas that the Treasury has authorized the Paymaster General to pay a further Bill of £187.14 drawn by Captain Parsons on account of the detachment of Royal Engineers under his command.

With reference to my despatch No 49 of the 1st of December I have to acquaint you that the Lords Commissoners of the Treasury have authorized the Paymaster General to accept and pay a further Bill for One hundred and eighty seven pounds fourteenshillingsManuscript image shillings (£187.14.-) drawn by Captn Parsons R.E. on account of the detachment of Royal Engineers under his command.
