Hamilton transmits a copy of Army Services bills drawn for the purpose of meeting the Requisitions of the Officer commanding the Troops in British Columbia. Blackwood minutes the following: Copy to Governor: requesting explanation.
With reference to the Letter from this Board of the
17th Instant, upon the subject of Bills drawn for
Army Services by the Treasurer of British Columbia, I am
directed by the Lords Commrs of Her Majesty's Treasury
to transmit to you for the information of Sir E.B. Lytton,
the enclosed copy of a Letter from the Assistant Paymaster
General, containing a List of Bills drawn for the purpose
of meeting the Requisitions of the Officer commanding
the Troops in the above mentioned Colony.

I am to acquaint you that, in accordance with the
suggestion of the Paymaster General, His Lordship has
been authorized to accept such of the Bills enumerated in
the List, as had not been previously reported to this
Board, vizt Nos 9 to 11 and 14 to 21 inclusive.
