April last approving of my employment of
M Brew in the capacity
of Chief Gold Commissioner, and of the appointment of
M C.J.R.
Bedford as a Justice of the Peace for the District of
Langley.
With2. With reference thereto I have the honor to inform you that
M Brew having requested to be relieved of the duties of Gold
Commissioner I complied with his request, and
M Sanders, Assistant
Gold Commissioner is now in charge of the Gold Department.

Bedford having tendered his resignation I accepted it, and appointed
M Peter O'Reilly to be Justice of the Peace at
Langley in his stead.
