29 April,
transmitting the Copy of a letter from
M John Barnston of Montreal,
relative to his sons exclusion from practice in the Courts of
British
Columbia, and
Vancouvers IslandIsland. I have the honor to inform you in
reply thereto, that I will take steps, at an early period, for
procuring the admission of Lawyers, educated either in Canada, or
the British Colonies generally, to practice in the courts of
British
Columbia, and Vancouvers Island.
