Sir

I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay to Mr James Cooper appointed Harbour Master of Esquimalt, Vancouver's Island, the sum of £150 for the expenses of his passage thither, as requested in your letter of the 28th Inst. 1
