I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of duplicate of
your Despatch No 22 of the 23rd September last, transmitting
a Warrant under the Royal Sign Manual, authorising me to pass
Letters Patent under the Public Seal of British Columbia,
appointingColonel

Works and I have to assure you in reply that those instructions
will be duly carried into
