Other Hotels in the Downtown Area
There is a very wide choice in Victoria, but August is peak
tourist time, so book early.
Many hotels and Bed and Breakfasts (B&Bs) are on-line
and you can get in touch with them via email. They are a great
way to experience Victoria and the surrounding areas. We have
located two listings of accommodations in the Victoria area.
By providing these links, we are not recommending these hotels
above others that do not appear on this list. The list will,
however, give you a feel for the type of accommodation available.

If you do chose to register with one of these hotels/motels/bed
& breakfasts please remember to ask for government rates.
Since you are here at a University of Victoria function you qualify
for government rates. Not all accommodations offer these special
rates, but many do. If you need to provide a conference reference
ask the reception desk to call Mary Sanseverino at the University
of Victoria, 721-8294. She will confirm that the conference is
a University event.
We have also found sites with general tourist information
on Victoria and
British
Columbia.
