Queen Henrietta Maria's Jointure (Household Vouchers, 1627-33)

A bill and receipt for payment to Gilbert Morette , tailor, for masque costumes. The receipt is signed by Morette, and dated 11 April 1632. The bill comprises a single leaf, folded in half. The bill occupies pp. 1-3, with the receipt also on p. 3; p. 4 the identification of the bill (turned 90 degrees).

For a masking sute of white satten and a Polony coate of crymson satten lynd with greene taffety for Mr Ieffery at the Kings masque. l. s. d.

for making the sute and polony coate with 2 laces
