Order Christmas to take
downe the Pagentes.
Item this daie the Court takeing into theire consideracion the some
of moneye alreadie disbursed and paid vnto Mr Christmas
for the fynishing of the three pageantes, and for the
performance of the shewes, that was intended att the
solempinacion of his Majesties
Coronaci on which his Majestie hath
signified to bee forborne; It is thought fitt and soe ordered the said mr Chrismas
and
mr Middleton referring themselues vnto
this Court, that noe further moneyes shalbe
paid vnto either of them, but that mr Chrismas shall forthwith cause the said
Pagentes to bee taken downe, and to haue the same for his full
satisfaccion;

Item this daie vpon further Consideracion taken by this Court of the humble peticion of
Gerrard Chrismas who now wholy submitted himselfe vnto this Court to abide theire
order this Court is pleased to give him ye some of Cli over and aboue what
alreadie hee hath receiued, out of the Chamber of London
in full satisfaccion and demaunde for the settinge vpp of three
Pageantes, And mr Chamberlen is hereby ordered to pay
the same;
