Comittees to consider what is fitt to bee donne against the king es Coronacion

Item for asmuch as it is conceiued that the Coronaci on of our Dread soveraigne Lord kinge Charles is shortly to bee solempnized, Therefore that the Cittizens of this Cittie maye shewe and performe theire loialties, and bounden duties towardes his most excellent Majestie at his passage through the same in preparing of Pagentes and other shewes and thinges necessarie toward the solempnizacion of that his Royall Coronacion in as stately and sompteous manner as hath bin heretofore performed by this Cittie vnto any his noble progenitors It is ordered by this Court that ... shall presently meete and informe themselues of antient presidentes in this behalfe, and callinge before them all such persons and men of Learninge quallitie and experience, as theye shall thinke fitt, shall Consider of all matters & thinges whatsoever needfull and necessarie, to bee performed by this Cittie, in the most honorable manner that maye bee devised, for and against the tyme aforesaid; And to acquaint this Court from tyme to tyme for theire Councell and advise to bee had therein, as shalbe needfull, and also to consider what in theire Iudgmentes the whole charge for performance of all the said services will amount vnto, and in what sort and by whome to bee paid, And mr Mosse and mr Latham or one of them to attend this Comittee from tyme to tyme, And Richard Walthewe and Iohn Olliffe to warne and attend the m said Comittees;

Item it is thought fitt, and soe ordered by this Courte that Mr. Chamberlen shall from tyme to tyme satisfie and pay all such sommes of money as he shall receiue order for vnder the handes of Mr Alde rman Hammersley Mr Ald erman Allen ,Mr Ald erman Moulson, Mr Nicholas Leate& Mr Thomas Stiles or any three or more of them for payment of workmen and others imployed about the intended shewes against the Coranacion Day of our Soueraigne Lord King Charles .
