Comittyes for ye pre paraci on of ye Pageantes& trivmphes againste his Majesties passage throughe this Cittie

Whereas vppon notice given to the Lord Maior and Court of Alde rm en of this Citty of his Majesties intenci on to passe in solempnitie throughe this Citty about the tyme of his Majesties Coronaci on shortly to be accomplished, the said Lord Maior and Courte of Alde rm en did nom in ate and appoynte that Sir Iohn Leman knighte and Alderman Mr Alderman Hamersley,Mr Ald erman Deane,Mr Alderman Raynton, S i r Humfrey Handford knighte and Alderman and Mr Alderman Moulson or any three or more of them And Edward Warner Mr chantaylor, William Smyth , Samuell Gouldsmyth and Hugh Percy M ercers Humfrey Smyth Grocer Richard Ven Haber dasher Iohn Taylor Draper Iohn Halsey and Thomas Langton Fishmongers Iohn Williams Gouldsmyth, Thomas Styles and Iohn Bennett Skinners Ellis Crispe Salter, Nicholas Leate Iremonger, Iohn Milwar d Vintener, Rich ard Finch and Marmaduke Royden Clothworkers, or any six of the said Commoners, should take care as Comyttyes for the preparinge appoyntinge and orderinge of such Showes pageantes and tryumphes as againste his Majesties said passage throughe this Citty should be thought fitt to be prepared and performed; since which, the said Sir Humfrey Handford and Mr Ellis Crispe are deceased Nowe this Courte vppon readinge the names of all the said Comitties and vppon approbacion of the said nominacion doe order and agree that all the said Comitties nowe livinge togeather, with the presente BridgeMasters or any three or more of the said Aldermen and any six or more of the said Commoners shall take all fittinge care and prouision for ye preparacion of such Showes pageantes and triumphes and performinge of such other thinges touchinge the same against his Majesties said passage as shalbe fitt to be had or done for the honor of this Citty And to take care alsoe for ye disbursinge of such moneys and charges as shalbe requise touchinge the preparinge orderinge and fittinge of the said triumphes and Showes, and other thinges incydent to the same And likewise to consider what course and meanes they conceave most fittest to be taken for ye levyinge and raysinge of moneys already disbursed or to be disbursed in and aboute the same And therevppon to certifie to this courte theire opinions therein and what they thinke fitt to be done for ye same That this Courte vppon the reporte of the same Comitties may take such order and course therein for ye leuyinge thereof as shalbe thenthought fitt and agreed vppon and[blank]Warne and attend them.
