Bills Oct. 1624 to March 1625 of Oswald Mitford , one of the Officers of the Removing Wardrobe, for cleaning and putting away some of the materials used for the masque in the Banqueting House. SP 14/185/11 (fols. 190-190v) is the eighth in a collection of ten documents. The bill occupies the recto of a single, unfolded sheet; a note on the verso identifies the bill as Mitford's. The other bills in the series detail expenses for carriage of wardrobe materials and furnishings from Hampton Court , Ely House in Holborn, Greenwich, Whitehall , Denmark House, and the Tower , to Suffolk House in the Strand ; and for the reception of the French Ambassador Extraordinary, M. Ville-aux- Clercs.
