home by the Venetian ambassador, Alvise
Valaresso, dated 12 [i.e. 2] Jan. 1624. The
dispatch is numbered 88, and occupies pp. 243-46 (extract on p. 246). Every page
measures 20x30 cm.
Presto si fara' il solito Balleto del Signor Prencipe; et spero

The Prince
’s usual masque will soon be staged. I too hope to be invited, whoever is invited
from the other ambassadors.
