the last nigte beinge twelfte-night

was the Masque, the Antimasque beinge of litle boyes dressed, like bottells, & a
man in a grat tonn which the bottells drew out, & tost too & froe not ill liked: the masque it selfe in generall not well-liked: the Conceite good the poetrye not soe. the Ambassador of Spayne & the venetian was at it: the frenche not, which he took not very well, it was answered for 4 or 5 yeaee[sic, for 'yeare']together, he had beene alwaie inuited, & not the other.
the Queene hathe not been abrode all the Christmas tide nether at playe or masque.
