Before the departure of Monsieure de la Tour, the Frenche Kings Extraordinarye Ambassador, the Lord Hay feasted him att the wardorobe, which in a word, was the most magnificent feast thatt ever I have seene in my life without exception; and after supper a maske equall to those which you have seene att Whitehall , whereat most of the englishe and scottishe lords, and great ladies then in london were present: itt was about the last of februarye:
