Irish Masque 4

Five masque payments, some duplicates, in the weekly accounts of Sir Edward Cary and Sir William Bowyer , tellers of the Exchequer. The accounts appear in a folio volume of papers relating to exchequer business from 31 November 1611 to 28 September 1614. The date of the accounting period has been cropped from the top of fols. 242 and 246. (Note: some of these payments may refer to Challenge, or to Campion's The Masque of Squires.)
Payment for the masque in a list of monies issued by Cary between 4 Dec. and 11 Dec. 1613. One folded sheet, two folios: pp. 1-2, accounts; p. 3, blank; p. 4, subscription.
Three notes of payment of £200 for the masque in two separate lists of monies issued between 11 Dec. and 18 Dec. 1613. The first and second notes of payment are ascribed to Cary and Bowyer. One folded sheet, two folios: the accounts occupy pp. 1-3; p. 4, blank. The second account, possibly a revised version, ascribes the payment to Bowyer only. One folded sheet, two folios: pp. 1-2, accounts; p. 3, blank; p. 4, subscription.
Note of payment of £200 to Meredith Morgan among monies issued by Cary between 24 Dec. 1613 and 15 Jan. 1614. One folded sheet, two folios: pp. 1-3, accounts; p. 4, subscription.
