My lord of Sommersetts mariage takes place on St Stevens day, solempnised at Westminster in Henry 7ths Chappell and 3 maskes intended, one by the Queene ye 2n d by the Ld, Lordes the last by ⎡at⎤ Sir Francis Bacon^ ⎡charge⎤ &c of Grayes Inne, for some priuate obligation, the other howses all refusing to spend more money, their expenses hauing beene already so extraordinary, in showes, ^ showe ⎡which⎤ they performed with greater affect ion then they can affoord this in question. It is true all the Commons wonder at the Accident, and what wilbe the issue lett them looke to it, whom it most concernes.
