Bills, 10 Feb. 1609 - 26 Nov. 1611. (Another copy of SP 40/2, fol. 180v; see also PRO, E403/2708, fol. 51) The document contains three, or possibly four, hands. The hand which annotates the document 'Warrant for Maskes' is a later one.

Warrant of 26 November 1610 for funds for two masques. The warrant appears on the recto of one parchment leaf, and is dated on the verso. King James 's signature manual appears in the top left hand corner.

IAMES by the grace of God&ces. To the Treasurer and Vndertreasurer of our Exchecquer greeting. Wheras we are pleased to be at some Charge aboute two Maskes, the one for the Queene our deere Wife, the other for the Prince our sonne. These shalbe to will and require yow to yssue out of our treasure such severall sommes of money as shalbe demaunded of yow by Certificate vnder the handes of our Cosins the Earles of Suffolk and Worcester for the Queene, and Sir Thomas Challoner knight for the Prince . And theis our letteres &ces.
