Britain's Burse 5

Hatfield House, Bills 35/4a (Another copy of Bills 35/3, although the totals are different.)

Bill of Henry Helmes submitted to Sir Walter Cope , for materials relating to the entertainment, dated 2 April 1609. Single unfolded sheet, one folio. The bill appears on the recto only; a receipt signed by Helmes appears on the verso. The repeated sets of figures at the bottom appear to be a running tally of sums owed by Cope. There is some damage to the MS, especially at the right-hand margin.
