At this Court it is ordred that the Maister &
Wardens of the Companye of the Painterstayners and
Richard Scarlett
one of the sayd Companye shall presently vewe the fyve
pageantes made by this Cittye and all the painters work vppon the same
and consider what they shall think and esteeme them worthy to have for their
workmanship. And whether the said Painters have honestly & trulye done and
performed their workes according to their promisses and
agreementes with this Cittye. And to
make report &ces. and

and ordering of the causes concerning the pageantes and other shewes made
by this Cittye at the kinges maiesties passage through the same Cittye shall consider of the paines
and travell taken by
Stephen Harrison
Ioyner in drawing of certaine plottes and moddells of the same
pageantes and putting them in print in a booke to bee kept by Mr Chamberlen to the Cittyes vse, and to make vnto the said
Harrison
such consideraci on and allowance for doing the same as they shall
thinke reasonable.

Item it is ordered that Mr Chamberlen shall presently paye to the Bridgemaisters the
somme of Lxvjliin part of payment of one hundred
poundes being the remaynder of CCCli borowed of the Bridgehouse, and disbursed for causes
concerning the Pageantes.
