Quarterage payments (membership dues) by Jonson to the Tylers' and Bricklayers' Company   , 25 July 1601 , in the Quarterage Book for 1588-1616. Jonson 's payment covered nine quarters at the usual rate of four pence per quarter. The Quarterage book is a folio-sized record of quarterage payments by guild members. It is unfoliated and arranged chronologically.
