Got a user report of an error in a multiple-choice question in Unit 13 of the Grammar on the Greek site. Fixed the error after confirming with Laurel Bowman, and rebuilt the exercise. In the process, I had to update the Masher file for the unit to point it at the site's source folder (C:\Documents and Settings\mholmes\My Documents\grs\greek_exercises\source\), and also to add the path to the chapter index image in the User Strings / strUserDefined1 box (<img src="../../images/gram_sm.gif" width="53" height="28" alt="Grammar section index" title="Grammar section index"></img>). Any Masher unit files which have not been edited recently may not have this info in them, because paths were based on my old computer HD configuration. It can be retrieved from any sibling file which has been used recently, or constructed by analysing the exercise files themselves.
Peter and I met with 5 new faculty members, all of whom have specific projects in mind, and plenty of informed questions. Good meeting and good group. I won't go into detail (most will be down at some time), but I will note that Claire singled all of you out and praised your work and contributions to the Faculty.
Peter and I do this once yearly as part of Claire's new faculty orientation series. Peter provides the big picture and I generally decribe operational and developmental procedues. We field questions on technology and project work, mainly in an effort to promote the centre and create networks. We pointed folks to the CMC collective, which seemed to be of interest.
