With Stew, rewrote the last section, and added an introduction. All that's left is to put it into MS Word and ReCALL format, and send it off. I'll do that Monday or Tuesday.
Wrote about 1500 words, including citations of Martin Dougiamas's paper, about which I sent him a couple of queries (it's still not formally published yet). Stew and I will complete and revise this tomorrow, and then we have the whole thing done. After that, it's formatting it (urg -- MSWord) and sending it to Ana.
Spent the day rewriting the first six sections of the HotPot chapter with Stew. We're now ready to write the last section. Right now it's at 9,500 words, so we estimate it will come in at around 11,000.
Added missing bits, expanded and rewrote the first section. It's now too long by far (1800 words), but some of it may be re-iterated later in bits that can be chopped, and in any case we can leave it to the editor to edit!
...and forwarded it on to Scott and Peter for them to edit/complete/approve.
...and forward it to Scott, whence it'll go to Peter. Completed 16/01/07.
Paul Scifleet has asked (through Peter) that we participate in the Markup Analysis Project, so I took a first look at the questionnaire to figure out how we might best approach it. I completed most of the items up to page 12, and then wrote to Scott and Peter with my impressions and recommendations on how we should proceed.
