Continued scanning images for the Lansdowne scholar; there will be one more set to do tomorrow, and then we should be done.

Scanned 40 images in two sizes for the Lansdowne scholar, who came by with CC. There are 80 more to go; may not finish all of them in time, but they're fascinating images.

Went to UofI (NCSA) with Ray and Brett for the SEASR workshop last week. Aside from travel problems the workshop was great. This post is mostly for the links, so...

It was recommended that if we need a cluster, and don't want to/can't use the NCSA set up, we should use a Condor cluster. It appears as though UVic has one already (although I can't find a direct ref to Condor at that site, I'm pretty sure I've seen one there).

I can't really claim the whole time I was gone, but I also can't really calculate claimable time spent so: 1080 minutes travel to workshop + 960 minutes actually attending workshop + 1320 minutes travel home = 3360 minutes, which seems absurd.

I've now completed all four of the reviews initially assigned to me for SDH-SEMI.

I have four reviews for SDH-SEMI 2009. Did the first one today.

All done. This is usually the trigger for them to assign a couple more for review, of course...

NLM 2.3 output (transformed from the 3.0 version output) is now available on the site, from the article pages. I'm sure we'll revisit this many times, but we do now have something to pass on to the OJS folks.
