Responded to various email messages and caught up with Judy on events this morning. Emails included Peter (Greg's jje), all staff (CTO/Vacation blog), Ulf (blog home for Research Collective), Trish (project showcase).
Discussed with Ray pending report on his lab usage stats. Report goes to English Chair and Dean Rippin. Discussion is also underway Faculty/University wide regarding Internet Shakespeare's new home. Michael is keen to find a more stable base.
Returned old Visa card, picked up new. Filled in paperwork.
Then ordered emergency kits for staff and centre. The following:
- 7 basic emergency kits
- 1 rescue kit
- 1 emergency backpack
The 7 kits are for full-time staff. The rescue kit I will keep in my office. The backpack is expanded version of basic kit, for visitors, students, etc. Kits due at end of week.

Resolved hiring and budget issues with Ray regarding Alastair and unallocated budget for future work. Spoke to Amelia in Dean's office and Peter. Recommended Mike Elkink for future work, which Ray and Karin seem keen on. Mike is returning in early March.
