With Judy, received, opened, and distributed emergency safety kits. Judy created list and we started file. The large earthquake survival kit/first aid is located above the refrigerator in the kitchen. The emergency backpack, built for about 4-7 people, is located in my office.

The Showcase requires a couple of pages of info on the HCMC site, and it will also need a printable flyer. We decided that all HCMC pages should have a worthwhile print output, so we started work on a print.css page, which is now available for all pages on the site, and is 70% complete. Remaining problems are:
- Links on the site must be properly rewritten so that we can distinguish between links which need URLs in brackets, and those that don't. That's going to be good practice anyway. We should use classes.
- Top-of-page links need to be suppressed.
- Page-breaks need to be allowed in (e.g.) bulleted lists.
- Indents need to be adjusted in headings/subheadings/subsubheadings.
- Borders and bg colours need to be removed from link lists.

Saw notice and decided to explore. Will continue building resume at later date.
Spent a frustrating 20 minutes trying to find this receipt. Checked online, in files, and starting thinking about the journal itself. I don't think we have been receiving it, though I know we paid for it.
Wrote email to Peter regarding Alan Galey's reimbursement. Awaiting reply. Responded to Stewart and Kate Seaborn's email regarding Mike Elkink. Mike is officially still UVic employee.
Required various additional emails and phone calls to iron out vacation times. Checked with HR regarding David's vacation status, Accounting about Greg's. Submit tomorrow.
Made plans, emailed Pat and my brother (whom I'm staying with), and reserved flights and hotel. Will confirm bookings once I hear back from Pat.
Weekly meeting to sort paperwork and do tasks. Afterwards, accomplished the following:
- arranged Key for Ricardo for Paul/Jessica's office

- gave various materials to Karin/Doug/Martin
- updated credit card numbers at Shaw
- organized staff vacation report for HR
- paid outstanding balance to Dunsmuir
- reviewed flights to Saskatoon for SDHI
