Realizing I need to have more sample content in TEI, it strikes me that converting it from ISE is the simplest and most useful way to get it because I'll learn ISE stuff in the process. Started work on a transformation to do that, and completed the work on the header, which will be very useful. Working on the body, which in the current incarnation of ISE XML has a bit of a nightmare of fragmented hierarchies, I made some progress, but I'm now assured by MT that they're working on a better XML version which I should use instead. Waiting to see what that looks like.

With help from MJ, got the isetools.jar validation working for my output, and clarified a few things with MT relating to warnings from it (bad nesting is perfectly OK, although the jar warns about it). Turned my transform into a two-stage process, so I can post-process the results to clean up some whitespace issues (and there will be other things); added support for <MODE> (not fully tested yet because my sample text has no transitions); and imported some more content into my schema from Simple.
All ready for BC Studies, and the content can be easily re-purposed for CSDH.
