The own_desc field is populated by triggers that run automatically on insert and on update; the latter is working, but the former seems to be only partly functioning, not providing the correct owner id. The RAs are working around this at the moment, but I need to figure it out. They'd also like the same provision to be added to the lawyers table. I can't see what the problem is by comparing the code, though; I'm rather at a loss at the moment.

On late duty, and pushing forward with Endings work.
Over the weekend and today I've got the transformation working so that it now builds a completely updated version of the XML which complies with the current P5 (and some upcoming changes/deprecations), as well as abstracting all the styles into rendition elements. I've build an Ant build file which generates all this stuff automatically from the original XML, and then uses that to start building the web output. That means I can focus on website generation work without having to update the existing site code to take account of changes in XML, which is a relief. I'm building this so that it will run outside of Oxygen, in anticipation of its running on a build server we plan for HCMC.
I now have primary source text documents rendering, although in many cases the results are not pretty. There are some fixes to be made to the original documents, I think. We may also decide on putting menus at the top rather than down the side, which will involve some tweaks (but not much, really, because the new layout is designed to detach the site structure from the document display as much as possible). Tested the build on the laptop and it works great.
Set up a Google Doc where we can collaborate on our taxonomies and expand our explanations of the fields we're targetting. AG and AR are collaborating on this. Also, heritage buildings are now entering the picture from left field. I have no idea how we're going to handle those.
A bunch of new corrections to Lingard, Urberg and Laycock.
Meeting with ISE team. They're intending to have their output-oriented XML ready by the end of the summer. For us, that will be a target only, not a source -- we only need to produce it. It will be a bit tricky to generate because it's all milestones etc., but that's what we aim for. JJ and I will work on If You Know Not Me pt 2, first by creating an editorial cast list and figuring out how to encode that in the header, and then by my building that into generation of the schemas (as an optional inclusion for sp/@who). We'll build our documentation in the ODD file.
