XPath and regex fest to find a sets of examples from our documents to illustrate style rules for the contributor notes. I think it now has enough good examples.
On late duty.
I've started on the XQuery to process the search page, and it's coming along. Builds are taking a long time for testing purposes, though. Must add a few more variant targets that do subsets of the work quickly.
Per PAB, added a new caption to the search results pages.
At HT's request, added a new pic and caption to Sayers article.
Worked on the build process and the controller file. No search yet, but everything else is working as far as I can see. Next step is the search.
Awaiting reply from PGL re site. In the meantime I'm updating the pre-prod site with current content I noticed on the existing site.
Edited: home page, membership index, newsletters index, uploaded new pdfs; re-published pages
In xpath/xquery builder in oxygen:
set xquery 3.0
declare default element namespace "http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0";
let $names := for $n in //persName/string-join(descendant::*/text()," ") return $n
return string-join($names,"
")
returns just the texts.
The equivalent in the xpath box above the editor
//persName/string-join(descendant::*/text()," ")
returns the strings, but also the system id etc for each that you then have to manually delete
