Leaving a little early.
The eXist team tagged 3.1.1, so I've rebuilt our template from that tag, tested it, and pushed it to the existDeployer folder on home1t.
Did a couple of tickets, one on FO and one that's related to the Stylesheets tests.
With JT, slightly edited our paper for DH to include a reference to our diagnostics github project and to add a figure. Now submitted.
The encoder package build script was not expecting packages without images. Now it is.
~/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.listOnce deleted, log out and back in, and you will get the default settings for the machine.
Per SK's request, new report on entries ending with a specific sequence of chars.
At AB's request, I've done new versions of the WordCloud from tweets during the conference. One includes all retweets and the content is relatively un-curated; in the other two, I stripped out all the retweets, got rid of &, URLs, "th" and "st" after numerals, hash tags, and handles, and expanded "St" to "Saint" (some of these requested by AB). The sites I used were: https://tagul.com/create and http://www.wordclouds.com/
After a consultation with Dr. Bowman this afternoon, it has been decided that we are not (at this point) to correct the errors Pausanius makes in his text. Dr. Bowman wants to stay true to Pausanius' "truth" so that we are aligned in our transcription of his work.
For the moment, we will make a note using xml comment:
And then go to the blog post for Ptolemy errors and record our findings.
There has been a blog post created just for the identification of Pausanius errors. In this post, we will indicate
a) section of text
b) error made
C) citations to back our claim
d) affirmation a comment has been added in the encoded text
At a later point, these errors may be gathered and provided in a reference site for the transcribed text or if it becomes problematic there will be another discussion on how to move forward.
