Set up another web vote for English.
SK pointed out that the English-Moses index was sorting Js to the end, and indeed when I looked at the collation that we're using for all sorting (MosesPhonemicCollation, which is designed to handle both English and Moses), J was omitted from the sequence. I added it to the source, installed NetBeans and recompiled the jar, and all seems to be well. I was happy to see that NetBeans was its usual trouble-free self; installed quickly, worked out of the box, and although it complained that a dependency ("hamcrest") was missing from the project, it added it for me, resolving the issue painlessly.
Also added a new Schematron rule to the set, to catch entries with no pron/seg[@type='p'], at SK's request; that caught 19 additional errors, which she's fixing.
Meetings combined with urgent stuff.
Both PS and I worked up the new pages for gallery and tweets, and reworked the menu structure. I think this should be done now.
I'm now happy with the way everything is working. There are tweaks I could make -- I need to put in place redirects for the old URLs, and I should revisit the collection.xconf and indexing, and there will be more pages that need to be created for the new site -- but it's all basically there, and what we have now could replace the current webapp immediately. Will start that process next week.
worked on pausanius book 1 till 1.12.4. time spent 11:30 - 12:35 pm .
Late duty, slow backups.
I've added an eXist app build to the process and I'm now testing and bugfixing locally to bring this project thoroughly into the Enddings fold. Everything is basically working, but I'm finding I now want to enhance some aspects of the rendering and display so that it's a cleaner and simpler setup than the previous app; I'm adding citation stuff in a footer, as well as getting the search working, based on Mariage. Should all be done soon.
Updated computer schedule with users' change of hours bookings.
Did final timesheet and advice of separation form. Note to self: workstudy supervisor can sign the latter; it doesn't need to be the dept head.
