The project information essay is going to take a while to write, and I can't live with the mechanical rendering of the teiHeader metadata from the project_metadata page, so I've given it some textual content in the form of a very brief history of the project. That will act as a decent placeholder until EGW has finished her article.
The Mariage XAR is large, and when I try to deploy it to a running eXist from Firefox, it dies after a couple of minutes with an anonymous "error". This must be due to some file size constraint in Firefox; logging it here, along with the workaround (which is to use Chromium instead), and if I have the chance to research the reason I'll post it.
Received a new translation and started working on it. I've used the LibreOffice macro search tool to good effect, enabling me to add some tagging in a semi-automated way to the word-processor doc using styles, and I'm now transferring that content into the XML document. The metadata is done, the bibliography is done, and I'm working through the editorial intro.
Dealt with some tickets, closed some obsolete ones, discussed others in meeting. Also added XSLT handling for tables in the XML, tested and tweaked it. Existing tables now working well.
Late duty.
Discussions and decisions on how to handle numbers and counters: new wordType of cardinalNumeral, new lexicalSuffix type of numeralClassifier. These will be applied, and then harvesting will be done to generate a table of numerical expressions which will form the basis of decisions on how/whether to create a special section in the print dictionary.
Coralling data, confirming, filling out timesheets, workstudy and Endings.
Made a table to replace the diagram per JSR; conducted interviews; discussed outcomes.
Late duty.
Simple redirect XQuery module that handles both the PDFs and the HTMLs now implemented.
