Until now, MoEML's prefixDefs pointed to the live site to resolve the pointer (i.e. mol:BLAH became http://mapoflondon.uvic.ca/BLAH) to preserve ease of linking within nested folder structures. With the static build, however, all pointers can be resolved locally, since the files are flattened. I've now changed the prefixDefs for most of the pointers in MoEML so that they resolve to something local. The only issue is how we point to calendars in @datingMethod. Currently, we use 'mol:julianSic', which resolves to http://mapoflondon.uvic.ca/julianSic.htm--that doesn't exist. So we'll likely need a new prefixDef (molcal or something like that) that resolves to:

Fixes to Graves

I realized that the ref/@targets in the site map, which pointed to the HTML pages, were technically incorrect. They pointed to the pages as if they were in the same directory, not two levels up. After working on it for an hour in the lab, I got home and realized the solution was fairly simple: add '../../' to the @target when generating the site map, and then in the XHTML5 generation (since it relies on the @target for filenames/locations, etc) pre-process the site map so that all @targets are stripped of their path. I decided to add the final few people that were missing; one was a misspelling and the other 3 are unidentified (but likely also misspellings, which I've noted in the notes). Graves is now passing the diagnostics.

ISE: Converting old-spelling IML to basis for modern text

Up to now, old-spelling IML texts have been processed by MB using his own tools to generate a version which forms a useful basis for a modern-spelling version, to give back to the editor. I was asked to replicate that process so that JJ can provide these versions for editors once their old-spelling version is finished. I've implemented a transformation scenario in Oxygen which uses a combination of XSLT (working on unparsed-text) and ant with JavaScript scripting to do the job. Test output is now ready for checking, and if it all works, I'll set up the scenario for JJ in her Oxygen (or perhaps create a special project file for the purpose). The code is in trunk/sgml/utilities.

Fixing @source/@change

@source and @change weren't being handled properly throughout the builds. Fixed those and have the number of bad links in the standard down from a few thousand to 87. Hopefully it can be near zero by the end of the week.
