Tried to leave on time, but you know how it goes...
Still in the testing phase, but MRBS looks solid enough -- entered all the current bookings for Arugula, Chicory and Dandelion.
JT forwarded two corrections from the author, and I noticed one missing rendering tag for an ellipsis. All entered, and uploaded.
Finally got the last feature working (the lookup field type in custom fields). Once I had that showing up appropriately in the Search form, I realized that it would be better to have regular lookup fields show up as lookups rather than selects, on the basis that this allows for easier searching with LIKE and percents. Also tweaked a lot of the CSS settings, then migrated the changes over to the main site. Then I migrated the main site data back into my development copy of the db, so they're both in sync.
1847 has been marked up and re-posted with all the changes. There may be some final tidbits that require tweaking, but, otherwise, it's looking pretty good.
I have a new biography entry to complete. Finally, Martin and I thought it best to tag each instance of date tags with a "when" descriptor. I will go back and do this for all the 1846 and 1847 documents. This shouldn't take long as it's a matter of find-and-replace work.
After the above is complete, we will be ready to move on to 1848, probably by the end of today!
Added a page for the Philosophy Student Union to the philosophy department site. Copied the undergraduate conference page. There are two php variables at the top of the page that need to be modified. There is also an action attribute on the form element that contains the fckeditor that must be modified. I forgot to modify that, so whenever they edited the PSU page the change was written to the undergraduate conference page - bad. Made that correction.
Met with MT and WO to test changes in audio setup in lab B and confirm everything is fine.
Have agreed to be external member of job search committee for programmer for dept of Psychology. Some back and forth on convenient times for interviews and have read some of the applications of the short list.
During cleanup of office, we found a box containing the "de-spined" copies of the ELS produced when those editions were scanned last year. Delivered the box to dept of English, who'd get them to LC. Also started conversation with LC about what to do with the electronic files.
