I've got as far as CD #15, item FO925-1650 pt1 (10). Two and a half CDs to go. Many are mislabelled or misdated.
I noticed that the "Mentions of this x in the documents" link was not showing up in the popup version of the person, place or vessel info, although it was still there in the index pages. This proved to be a by-product of my move to make all those lookups into AJAX requests; in the process, I had taken the individual items out of the context of the <list> or <listPerson> element they are normally contained by, and this had the extra effect of failing to trigger some of the required rendering code. When I put them back into a list, the "Mentions" link came back, along with some good display features (colour-coded titles depending on the type of item). This, though meant that they ended up displayed as list items, so they were offset to the left and had a bullet point. I've now added some CSS to eliminate that problem in the context of the popup.
Marked up the first few pages of Bunch, and did some automated markup in the WP version to save time.
Integrated the article display into the site based on instructions from CC, and also made an adjustment to the left position of the main content div (div#content), changing it from 18em to 26em. This makes for more blank space on the page, which makes reading easier. This is the first of several layout adjustments that I think we need to make, to make the site more elegant, and I'd also like to create a better default stylesheet (with black text on a light background).
We finally have a French interface file for the Image Markup Tool, kindly provided by Marjorie Burghart (EHESS, France). I've built a new version of the application (although no other changes have been made), and added the appropriate credits and acknowledgements in the Help file and on the website.
Working late on QT again, but making progress. Also planning the Dublin trip for April.
I checked the status of my work since December and Greg fixed my handbrake problems.
I re-exported Nepveu and produced web and archive versions of it.
I made web and archive versions of Jones and Shkandrij.
I borrowed 5 tapes from the library, due next Tuesday.
I captured, edited and exported McGann and Barber. Captured Penelhum.
Braeburn has been acting up a lot, so I have double checked my back-ups on the server, and Greg has said he will try to rebuild it.
Spent the day preparing my part of the history colloquium presentation (with the usual interruptions for other project work going on in the office). Also, in the process, I noticed some little bugs with projects we'll be looking at; fixed minor issues in ColDesp and in the AdaptiveDB dev site. My bit of the presentation is the XML component, which tends to be difficult to explain in a useful way, so I've created a series of graphics which I think might help. These should be useful for other presentations too.
