Have placed cross-reference in narrow rather than phonemic notation, in that in examples like k’uwEn, I have left in the E=schwa, rather than removing it k’uwn to make the form fully phonemic. This is because I still can’t make up my mind about the shape of phonemic representations. Need to think about this one more time and make a final decision about this. 3. Martin: we need to add ‘imperative’ to the list of “inflectional” suffixes in the feature structures.
