Yesterday I went to the BC Archives and read up on some economic things (The Royal Commission on the state of coal in BC was interesting) as preparation for my economy/industry section. I also photographed some memorials at Christ Church and met with some UVic professors who provided some handy tips on where/how to look for information. Today I transcribed the 233 names from the Christ Church Honour roll and spent some time cross referencing with my other lists as I'm beginning to find duplicates. I did some preliminary background research on a few of them, just to confirm entries and see what was available in preparation for the soldier database. I have continued compiling my list of call numbers for the archives for when I return next week. Tomorrow is a short day for me as I have to work for my other job, but I will be making my Monday report for John and continuing to plan archives trips and figuring out how to search for things.

Ashley, I know you've been busy this week, but is the archives meeting still on for next week? Great work for Congress by the way!
