Tomcat on lettuce

Posted by gregster on 09 Sep 2007 in Servers, Activity log

I got an email that tomcat on lettuce was dead. This is not abnormal, but I usually get a follow-up within a few minutes saying that it's up again. I didn't get such a message this time.

The "dead" email came at 8:12pm (I got it about 8:25pm) and I didn't see an "alive email come in so I logged in to lettuce and found that tomcat was not flying out of control as I suspected. Rather, it wasn't running at all.

I started tomcat at around 8:50pm.
