Posted by on 11 Aug 2008 in Announcements

As a follow-up to my get-your-feet-wet posting last week, introducing you to the semantic web, an excellent introduction from one of my favorite blogs, ReadWriteWeb, to the semantic web.

...we'll analyze the trends and technologies that power the Semantic Web. We'll identify patterns that are beginning to emerge, classify the different trends, and peek into what the future holds.

And a tip of my hat to the Digital Campus podcast from the Center for History and New Media at George Mason University for highlighting this blog. If you don't already listen to the Digital Campus monthly podcast, you're missing the best podcast I know for digital humanists.

CMC Research Collective

Welcome to our research collective!

In the fall of 2006 we set out to develop a network of people from the Faculty of Humanities who are using or are interested in using CMC (Computer Mediated Communication). At the moment, we are about a dozen people representing six departments and the HCMC sharing experience and research on creating new learning environments and communities.

We use this blog for announcements and discussions. We also like to extend the invitation to new members to join us!
